Infamous. Perhaps no other bar or cantina in Mos Klarius can lay claim to the sheer volume of disreputable business which the Hutt Bunker boasts. All manner of high-minded, squalid, powerful, and wannabe toughs waddle or stride or prance into the place, and not all of them come out again. The Hutt Bunker is notorious for its violence, and for the sheer variety of visitors it hosts. Its owner, a Weequay called Thaddeus, makes the point that such variety ensures its neutrality.

Dishevelled. Thanks to the frequency of shoot-outs and fisticuffs which tend to splatter the floor with blood of all colours and densities, the Hutt Bunker is frequently filthy, sticky underfoot, and covered in a sheen of grime. Yet perhaps because its inhabitants and regulars are of similar ilk, it does not seem to intrude on the commerce of the place whatsoever.

A Place To Get Work. Thanks to Thaddeus’ penchant for turning a blind eye to almost any shady deal, gunfight, or political manoeuvre that might take place in his establishment, the Hutt Bunker has gained a reputation as the place in Mos Klarius to go to get work of just about any variety. Much of this work turns on the intelligence (which some might call overblown rumours) bought and sold by the information brokers Zed and Ruce Brogna. Thanks largely to the owner’s stubborn insistence on neutrality, many of the underworld and corporate schemes which take place in Mos Klarius are hatched in this very place, which is perversely seen as sacred ground—perverse in the sense that it is only sacred because violence can be plotted, and blood can be shed in the place, seemingly without reprisal. That Thaddeus ignores most of it has become one of his most endearing traits to the shady figures which inhabit his establishment.

No Hutts Allowed. While this so-called rule is not overtly stated, nothing quite suggests it like the bar’s own slogan, projected in neon aurebesh across the walls: “a place of splendour, but not sobriety, and mercifully free from the smelly, sweaty palms of some greasy slug brute.” While not all Hutt lords are of the species referred to in this statement, they are nevertheless the archetypal iteration, being natives to Nal Hutta. Rejecting the Hutt cartels outright may initially seem like a bold move to make anywhere on the Outer Rim, but some have argued it is an easy rule to enforce, given that no known Hutt currently abides on all of Aaru IV, and the sphere of Hutt Space itself does not yet encompass the planet.
