Kolgorra
FETID HIVE WORLD | OUTER RIM
Features
Remote. The lush, swampy world of Kolgorra lies outside is located along the distant edge of the Outer Rim, far from most civilisation.
Independent. Thanks to its insignificance and lack of any identifiable resources, Kolgorra remains largely untouched, free from both civil construction, environmental damage, or political encroachment.
The Wet Slog. Kolgorra is a stinking, wet puddle in which countless flora have come to thrive. It is unexplored and uninhabited, for good reason, and lost in the depths of the Outer Rim. Comprised of dense forests and swamps, the terrain is arduous and unforgiving; what mountainous regions exist are similarly harsh and sheer. Most of its surface is covered in lowland bogs and marshes. While it has no seas or oceans, vast tracts of the planet are essentially wetlands and flood plains.
Locations
Wreck of the Freedom’s Voice. Purportedly, the planet hosts the wreckage of a CR-90 Corellian Corvette, the remains of the Freedom’s Voice, a consular ship carrying the Ambassador Yora Kloss, which was on a diplomatic mission at some stage in the midst of the First Clone War. However, communications with the ship were lost, and nothing of it has ever been recovered. It has long been assumed that either the ship was entirely vaporised, or what scattered debris is left of it have long since been consumed by the jungles and swamps of Kolgorra.
Phenomena
A standard day on Kolgorra is assumed, from the very few surveys made of the planet, to last approximately thirty eight standard hours, and the length of its year estimated as three hundred and two or three local days.
Native fauna and flora is unknown, though assumed to be abundant.
