Perhaps the most unfortunate side-effect of the cloning process is the accelerated decrepitude it generates, which has been well-documented. All of the clones were initially limited to a very few short years of life. It was corporate investment toward this end, after the expenditure of considerable time and resources and exposing the organisation to risk, which developed a counter-measure to ensure a longer-lived clone. These processes were, naturally, best-practice and fulfilled every available legislative requirement at the time.
The history of genyryll is one of the greatest industrial miracles of the entire Clone Wars. Historians rightly point to the bloodshed caused by [transmission static], and much focus is pointed toward political and military [indecipherable phrase], but it is easily forgotten how much hard work was invested behind the scenes. The latter name, I am told, was derived from the notion that the drug might ‘freeze’ the ageing process, not unlike turning a person to stone.
