Celestial Interference 3. The very nature of an amorphous belt of densely-packed and ever-shifting space debris perhaps makes it no surprise that as targets for astrogation calculations go, asteroid fields are mightily problematic.

Mineral Wealth. Despite its far-flung locale and the difficulties of navigating both to and within the belt, the Jurion Field has been the subject of much interest thanks to the not insignificant value of the ores and minerals within the floating chunks of rock which make up its disparate mass.

Unaligned. While various corporate, criminal and pirate interests lurk within the vast expanse of Jurion Field, none can come close to claiming the entire thing.

Locations

Jurion Station. One of the larger, less ore-dense asteroids has been hollowed out and fitted with various industrial-scale freighter docks and logistics centres. It is from here that LithoCorp’s control of the mining operations facilitates most of Jurion’s trade.

Shadow Base. Rumours abound of a criminal network—largely pirates—which operate out of the asteroid belt, preying on the large volume of vulnerable ore freighters which trudge in and out of the field with regularity.

Kofarru Station. The Notus Mining Collegiate have spotted an opportunity to compete with one of its great rivals in a location which not even the corporate bureaucrats and lawyers at LithoCorp have been claim exclusively for their own Kofarru Station, though much smaller than Jurion Station, still operates a massive undertaking within the belt.
